"Helen no puede dormir" by Marian Keyes ("The Mystery of Mercy Close")

I bought it in Spanish because I had forgotten I had already bought it in English about two months before. When I saw the Spanish edition I realized that the title said a lot. Too much to start reading it inmediately. So I waited for the right time to read it. I have finished it today and it took me four days, as every novel of Marian Keyes I had read.

There is something in the way she writes, so fluid, so well directed, so curious characters,... I don't know, but the thing is that I can't stop reading once I have started. And I am glad that she continues writing so well.

About Helen, the main character of this new novel, I tell you I have read before about her, or at least, her story rings a bell when reading it. And because of the Spanish edition, "Hellen can't sleep", I could tell what it was her problem about. But it is so very well treated! The matter and the character.

I can't tell you any more, because I don't want to spoil your reading. Just that Helen is a detective investigator with some odd way of working and a dificult past that tries to get her.

It is been fantastic to read Mrs Keyes again. Congratulations!
